7 “Fs” of Faith

Find – the promise in the Word of God that relates to your need. Faith can only be based on God’s Word. If the promise is there… it’s meant for you! (II Corinthians 1:20; Hebrews 13:8)
Focus – you faith on that promise in the Word. Keeping your eyes on the Lord and His promises will keep them off the circumstances that don’t line up with God’s Word (I John 4:4; Heb. 12:2; II Corinthians 10:5)
Fulfill – the conditions pertaining to the promise. With every promise comes a condition to be met. You do all you can do, and then God will do what only He can do. (John 15:7; I John 3:22)
Fight – the “good fight of faith” (I Timothy 6:12). Just as there were giants in the Promised Land that the Israelites had to overcome, there will be obstacles in your path to overcome. The “fight” involves your remaining faithful to believe God will do what He said He’d do in his Word. (Philippines 3:14, Numbers 13:30)
Fuel – the promise by praying in the Spirit, listening to good teaching tapes and reading books based on the uncompromising Word of God. Remember, “No deposit – No return.” (II Timothy 4:7; Isaiah 55:11)
Finish – the race. Quitting is not an option. Make your motto, “God said it. I believe it. That settles it!” (II Timothy 4:7; Isaiah 55:11)
Feast – on the harvest of your faith. Once your answer has manifested, spend time enjoying the victory. Determine never to forget God’s goodness to you and always be ready to share His faithfulness to His Word and to His people with others. (Psalm 89:1; Mark 5:19)

It is Written…

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently see Him. (Hebrews 11:6)
