The Name

Matthew 1:23 Behold, the virgin shall be with child and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel, which is translated, “God with us”.

What’s in a name? It’s everything from God’s perspective. “The Name” reflects God’s desire to be a hands-on Father to you!

Acts. 4:1 Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.

Jesus died and ROSE from the grave for you. No other religious group can make that claim about their “savior”. There’s only one empty grave, the rest have the remains of mere mortals.

Philippians 2:9, 11 Therefore God has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Everyone will eventually acknowledge that Jesus is Lord. The only question is where and when that acknowledgement will come.

The Blood

Leviticus 17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood… for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.

Jesus paid a debt He did not owe so you could live a life you did not deserve – fellowshipping with the Creator of the heavens and earth.

Romans 5:8, 9 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.

Because of Jesus’ shed Blood, you have been justified – “just-as-if-I’d-never-sinned” – totally innocent, totally restored with unhindered access to the Father.

Revelation 12:11 And They overcame him (the devil) by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.

Just as the Israelites were protected from the Angel of Death by applying the blood of the Passover lamb to the doorposts of their homes, today you can apply the Blood of Jesus to receive protection in every area of their lives.

The Word

Hebrews 4:12 For the Word of God is sharper than any two-edged sword, piecing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

The Word of God has the power within it to bring itself to pass. The devil cannot stop the Word from working, he can only stop you from acting on it.

Isaiah 55:11 So shall My Word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

The Word is seed. It will produce a harvest when you speak It in faith.

1 Peter 1:24, 25 All flesh is as grass, and all glory of man as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, and its flower falls away, But the Word of the Lord endures forever.

In the beginning the Word was (John 1:1); in the end the Word will be. The Word is God’s will for your life!
