The 7 “F’s” of Faith
The 7 “F’s” of Faith
Faith is God’s way of doing business. It is the avenue by which He is able to get all the good things He has provided for us in the spiritual realm into our lives in this natural world. The following is an outline to help you develop and release your faith for:
- receiving the promises of the abundant life Jesus died to give you
- overcoming all the challenges that living in this natural world brings
Find – the promise in the Word of God that relates to your need. Faith can only be based on God’s Word. If the promise is there… it is meant for you! (II Corinthians 1:20; Hebrews 13:8)
Focus – your faith on that promise in the Word. Keeping your eyes on the Lord and His promises will keep them off the circumstances that don’t line up with God’s Word.
(I John 4:4, Hebrews 12:2, II Corinthians 10:5)
Fulfill – the conditions pertaining to the promise. Every promise requires a response on your part. When you respond to God’s Word you are positioning yourself to receive what He has already fully given. (John 15:7, I John 3:22)
Fight – the “good fight of faith” (I Timothy 6:12). Just as there were giants in the Promised Land that the Israelites had to overcome, there will be obstacles in your path to overcome. The “fight” involves your remaining faithful to believe that God will do what He said He’d do in His Word. (Philippines 3:14, Numbers 13:30)
Fuel – the promise by praying in the Spirit, listening to good teaching tapes and reading books based on the uncompromising Word of God. Remember, “No deposit – No Return”. (Hebrews 4:12, Isaiah 55:11)
Finish – the race. Quitting is not an option. Make your motto be, “God said it. I believe it. That settles it!” (II Timothy 4:7, Galatians 6:9)
Feast – on the harvest of your faith. Once your answer has manifested, spend time enjoying the victory. Determine never to forget God’s goodness to you and always be ready to share His faithfulness to His Word and to His people with others. (Psalm 89:1, Mark 5:19)
It is written…
But without faith it is impossible to please Him,
for he who comes to God must believe that He is,
and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently
seek Him. (Hebrews 11:6)
