Concerning Knowing Your Enemy…
Concerning Knowing Your Enemy…

Satan manifests himself as two forces:
- as a roaring lion who inflicts fear and persecution and causes us to back off
- as an angel of light who uses the seduction of beauty to cause us to compromise and be complacent.
FEAR – False Evidence Appearing Real
If you destroy the negative, the picture can never be developed. Fear is just the darkroom where all our negatives get developed.
Carnality is bondage. When the soul is calling the shots, you are in the hands of the enemy.
We have to separate the pressure from the problem. Jesus took care of the problem. We have to deal with the pressure. Satan takes the problem and get you to rehearse it in your memory and speak it out of your mouth saying, “What am I going to do?” At that point you are trusting in yourself.
Anything you fear shows your forgetfulness of God.
Pride always ignores warnings.
Hell is not interested in your past, only your future.
If your caring could change anything, things would have changed a long time ago. What good does it do to “care” (worry)? Hanging on to a “care” breaks your focus.
Eradicate every image, suggestion, impression, feeling, and thought, that does not contribute to your faith; that you do not have what you have prayed for.
When you get complicated, you lose your joy.
There are three ways the devil can get to you: to steal, kill, and destroy. There are four methods he uses: deception, temptation, persuasion, and intimidation. All require our cooperation.
It’s not that the devil is not going to attack – but we can learn how to not let him control us.
If you give the devil a ride, pretty soon he will want to be driving.
Wicked comes from the same word as “wicker” furniture. It means “twisted” (wicked = twisted truth).
You cannot be separated away from the body of Christ or Christian beliefs without being separated unto the devil.
Anger is always a secondary emotion. It is an automatic indication that a hurt has occurred.
Satan cannot stop the Word. He can only stop us from acting on it.
The way to handle the wolf is to stay close to the Shepherd.
