Concerning God’s Purpose for Your Life
Concerning God’s Purpose for Your Life

You were saved and called not according to your abilities or talents but according to His Purpose. God has something for you to do, and He wants to flood your heart with light to see exactly what it is and equip you with the grace to do it.
If we get the things God’s Word promises in our lives without first becoming the person He wants us to be, there is a good chance we’ll be destroyed.
The Word will carry you to the point of your focus.
God does not advance us to destroy us. The only time we become devastated in the absence of peace and calm is when we fail to look for God in the storm. His voice, though ever so still and quiet, will be heard by those who look for Him in the storm.
God will move on you to do the unreasonable in order to move you into the unlimited. It may seem unreasonable to your natural way of thinking, but you are no longer limited to the natural point of view. You are free to see things from God’s point of view.
Pray over a “good idea” until it becomes a “God-idea.” In other words, make sure it is something God wants you to do.
You are a carrier of someone else’s Blessing.
Of all the things on earth, what will last for eternity? People! So, when you touch a life, you are making an investment forever.
Genesis 13:14-15 “Lift up thine eyes… for all the land which thou sees, to thee will I give it and to thy seed forever.” It is not what you see with your natural eyes, but what you see with your spiritual eyes that determines what you will receive. Unless you see God’s desire for you with spiritual eyes, you will not obtain what He has promised.
You live on through the seeds you have sown into somebody else.
Sometimes God will use someone who is not doing something right, to work out something that is not right in you.
At some point the Word you are hearing has got to be conceived in your heart and bring forth fruit (John 15:16). At some point you have got to become so impregnated with divine purpose that you begin imparting it to others. Otherwise, the story ends with you.
God never tries to take anything away from us. He is just trying to get us into a position to give us more.
You cannot store up living contact. Fellowship must be fresh.
Life is for living – not protecting (John 10:10). When you look back someday your greatest regrets may be over the things you have not done, rather than the things you have done; because mistakes are redeemable, your lost opportunities are not.
There are two categories of service that Christians are called to: service to the lost and service to the Body of Christ. Service to the lost involves sharing Jesus with others by sharing the “saving” Word. Service to the Body of Christ involves making yourself available to the Holy Spirit to minister the “cleansing” Word to the saints (fellow believers).
The anointing abides in each of us; we just have to learn how to cooperate with it.
Is there anything more important than relationship? The short answer is “no.” The long answer is “yes.” Relationship is limited without fellowship and intimacy.
God planned it, Jesus purchased it, and Holy Spirit leads us into it.
